What's included when you rent The Stage

The Stage at One Oh Four lit with RGB LED panels

Many stages charge for the room, then charge again for every light. At One Oh Four, the full lighting package is part of the hourly rate. Walk in, pick up the iPad and start shooting.

The lighting

Eleven pre-rigged Aputure fixtures hang from a pipe grid 15 feet overhead: nine Nova P600c RGB LED panels (eight with softboxes, one as a backlight) and two 600x fixtures with parabolic softboxes. Every light is fully dimmable and controlled from the floor with the Sidus Link app on an iPad. No ladders, no waiting, and we never charge per light.

Want a different look? You're welcome to bring your own lights and gear. There are four floor outlets plus four more up on the pipe grid.

The Stage lit in different colors with the pre-rigged lights — The same room, lit three ways from the iPad.

The room

The room is 24' × 40' with a three-wall cyc that is 21' wide and 8' deep, with coved corners and a floor sweep. It's soundproofed for clean audio on interviews, dialogue and VO. We're in a residential area, so now and then you may hear a dog bark or a horn outside. A loading dock with a 12' × 18' lift rated to 7,000 lb makes load-in easy.

The Stage floor plan: 24 by 40 foot room, 21 by 8 foot cyc wall, 15 foot pipe grid, loading dock — The Stage floor plan.

Pricing

The Stage starts at $100 an hour with a 4 hour minimum. Lighting and the Hair & Makeup suite are included, and the Production Suite is included when available.
